Tar Heels grateful for a few days off
Sat Aug 19, 2006
North Carolina's football practice ran a little longer than scheduled Friday afternoon, but none of the players seemed to mind. The wait just made the end of the session that much sweeter. After 15 consecutive days of workouts, including a few two-a-days, the Tar Heels knew when they walked off the field that they had some time to rest. "I've been a player before, so I know their pleasure," UNC coach John Bunting said with a chuckle, taking no offense to his players' desire for a break.
