UNC's Defensive Effort Not Enough
Posted Sep 23, 2017
For the third time this season, North Carolina’s defense walked out of Kenan Stadium following a loss. This time, however, the unit was exiting the field after its best performance of the year. In Saturday’s 27-17 loss, the Tar Heels held the Blue Devils to 4.9 yards per play, 4.1 yards per rush and surrendered two touchdowns and two field goals on 14 possessions.
