Devils outduel Heels in surprisingly close contest

Most everybody figured Duke would come out on top in their 104th meeting with rival North Carolina on Saturday. But the way the Blue Devils carved out a 27-17 victory was unexpected because few outside the UNC locker room believed the Tar Heels had the talent or experience to put up much of a fight. But they did. And that’s what made this a dogfight.
