University of Houston basketball coach Kelvin Sampson showed KHOU 11 News nearly 15,000 donations from Providence High, Iowa State University and beyond. Sampson's viral tweet asked fellow coaches to send school t-shirts and shoes for storm victims. NCAA rules, though, stand between donations and kids in need. “They don’t want us sending all this nice gear to the top recruit in Houston."
