Wake Forest quarterback Ben Mauk may not return this season after breaking his right arm and dislocating his right shoulder in a win over Syracuse. Mauk was hurt when he dove after a fumble with 5:31 remaining in the third quarter and the score tied at 10 on Saturday. He was carried off the field on a stretcher and taken to a hospital, where he remained Sunday. Redshirt freshman Riley Skinner replaced Mauk.
