He was a bright spot for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, even if he was overshadowed by one of his teammates. T.J. Thorpe caught eight passes for 65 yards in Friday’s loss to the B.C. Lions. Not many would have predicted Thorpe would have a big night. After all, it was his first CFL game after returning from injury. Thorpe had impressed the coaching staff in training camp.
