North Carolina FC's soccer field of dreams is currently an underwhelming parking lot on the edge of downtown Raleigh. The Major League Soccer proposal revealed Wednesday aims to turn this boring stretch of downtown into a new nexus, unveiling a vision of turning this underused plot of land into a $150 million soccer mecca for the newest MLS expansion team.
