No more looking back for Tar Heels

Saturday, September 09, 2006

Satchel Paige once said not to look back because something might be gaining on you. Had Paige been a quarterback instead of a pitcher, he might have said not to look back because something might clobber you while your head is turned. The Tar Heels struggled to contain the Scarlet Knights early and admitted afterward that they spent much of the game looking back at the previous play instead of looking ahead to the next snap.
