Tim Federowicz helped the North Carolina baseball team reach three straight College World Series, where the Tar Heels twice finished as the national runner-up. Though he wanted to win a national championship with UNC, the allure of starting his professional career was too strong to bring him back to Chapel Hill for his senior year. (Cary News)
