In the biggest start of his young career, Luca Dalatri turned in his best performance by stymieing Michigan’s bats to prolong No. 2 national seed North Carolina’s postseason with an 8-1 victory. “The game always starts with pitching and we got a great performance by Luca today,” UNC head coach Mike Fox said following the win. “That set the tone for us.”
