Attrition hurts N.C. teams

Seniors Ronnie McGill and Jesse Holley occasionally talk about the team they could have if the class they entered North Carolina with in 2003 had remained intact. Instead of being the Tar Heels' lone experienced wide receiver, Holley said, he would be part of a "pick your poison" trio with Adarius Bowman and Mike Mason. The front seven on defense would be much stronger with Isaiah Thomas at tackle and Fred Sparkman at linebacker. (Charlotte Observer)
