Hunter Williams finds way to independent baseball league after leaving UNC

Hunter Williams pitched well enough that he was slated to be North Carolina’s No. 2 starting pitcher this spring, only because No. 1 starter JB Bukauskas is expected to be a top-10 pick in the draft. Then, after returning to Chapel Hill, N.C., and playing fall baseball, Williams received the bad news. His grade-point-average had dropped to .004 below what is required to play. (Observer-Reporter)
