ACC Tournament: North Carolina crushes rival NC State, 12-4

No. 2 seed North Carolina used a barrage of first-inning hits and several NC State miscues to cruise past the No. 7-seed Wolfpack, 12-4 on Friday night (Highlights). The win lands the Tar Heels the last semifinal spot in this week’s ACC Baseball Tournament at Louisville Slugger Field. North Carolina hitters totaled nine hits in the first inning, scoring 10 runs.
