UNC routs NC State to gain semifinal berth in ACC baseball tournament


North Carolina plated 10 runs in the first inning and then coasted its way into the ACC Baseball Tournament semifinals. The Tar Heels have scored 22 runs in its first two games and whipped N.C. State 12-4 in the final pool play game on Friday night at Louisville Slugger Field. North Carolina now plays Miami at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the second semifinal. (Durham Herald-Sun)
