Not long ago, the sky was falling for the Duke basketball program. One underclassman after another declared for the NBA Draft, two others announced their intentions to transfer and veteran leaders Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones approached graduation. After another early NCAA tournament exit, there were questions as to whether the Blue Devils’ investment in one-and-done talents was paying off.
