Vanderbilt basketball lands Notre Dame transfer Matt Ryan

Notre Dame basketball player Matt Ryan will transfer to Vanderbilt, he announced on Twitter Tuesday night. Ryan, a 6-foot-7 forward, was granted his scholarship release from Notre Dame on March 28, and he visited Vanderbilt about a week later. He will sit out the 2017-18 season to fulfill NCAA transfer rules and then be eligible as a junior in the 2018-19 season. (Nashville Tennessean)
