No. 3 Diamond Heels Fall To Liberty, 5-2

Trey McDyre's three-run double in the eighth proved to be the game winner as Liberty knocked off No. 3 North Carolina 5-2 Tuesday night at Boshamer Stadium. Carolina led 2-1 after seven thanks to solo home runs from Tyler Lynn and Ashton McGee, but the Flames scored four times in the decisive inning to grab just their second win in the series in 19 tries.
