Counting the days


“Late Night,” the annual team debut, will be Oct. 13, and practice begins in earnest the next day. The first exhibition game will be Nov. 1 against St. Augustine’s at 7:30 p.m. at the Smith Center. The regular season opens in Charlotte on Nov. 14 against Sacred Heart at 7 p.m. in the Preseason NIT. Not only will All-American and the other exciting newcomers from a year ago be on the court, a gifted class of freshmen will join those sophomores. (Chapel Hill News)
