UNC student named 2017 Gates Cambridge Scholar

Adriano Bellotti, a current student in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Medicine, has been awarded the prestigious Gates Cambridge Scholarship, which provides full support for graduate study at the University of Cambridge in England. Bellotti, 24, a Charlotte native, is among 36 Americans selected for the award from 800 U.S. applicants.
