Katie Bailiff Named ACC Softball Player Of The Week

UNC sophomore Katie Bailiff was named ACC Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Tar Heels to a fantastic home-opening week. Bailiff went 8-for-13 at the plate with four doubles, two home runs and 10 RBI, slugging 1.385 over four starts behind the plate. Bailiff is the first Tar Heel to win a weekly award this season and takes home her first career conference honor. (GoHeels.com)
