UNC’s Katherine Perry reflects on long journey to LPGA Tour

It might still be winter, but golf is in the air. Area resident and recent UNC-Chapel Hill graduate Katherine Perry is setting forth on her journey as a first-year member of Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). “I almost gave-up last June,” said Perry, who was raised in Cary and introduced to golf by her father at age 10.
