UNC vs. Virginia: Tale of Two Tempos?

The UNC-Virginia game is being billed as a tale of two tempos. That’s certainly the case on paper. The Tar Heels have the 45th-fastest pace in the country (and 15th-fastest when considering only offensive possession length). Tony Bennett’s Cavaliers, on the other hand, are the second-slowest team in the nation. But let’s dig a little deeper.
