No. 2 North Carolina’s quest for a third ITA Women’s Tennis Team Indoor National Championship came up short in Monday’s title match against top-ranked Florida, 4-2. The Tar Heels (8-1), competing in the championship match for the third year in a row, had an uphill battle from the start after losing the doubles point for the first time this spring.
