Syracuse Tops Carolina Women's Basketball

Alex Peterson and Brittney Sykes, the top-scoring backcourt in the nation, combined for 61 points to lead No. 20 Syracuse to a 95-64 victory over North Carolina on Sunday at the Carrier Dome. Paris Kea scored 27 points to lead North Carolina (13-12, 2-10 Atlantic Coast Conference). Jamie Cherry had 17, while Stephanie Watts had 10 rebounds and seven points.
