UNC Softball Drops Opening Double Header In Puerto Rico

North Carolina softball opened the 2017 season in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, taking on Illinois and California at the Puerto Rico DI Tournament. The Tar Heels struggled to get things going offensively, falling to Illinois, 6-2, and to Cal, 3-1. Carolina (0-2) will get a do-over on Saturday, Feb. 11, facing both Illinois and California once again beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
