UNC Women's Soccer Falls To West Virginia In NCAA Semifinal

The sixth-ranked UNC women’s soccer team saw its storybook season come to an end Friday as the Tar Heels fell to consensus #1 West Virginia 1-0 in the NCAA semifinal in San Jose, Calif. The Mountaineers claimed the victory on an unassisted goal by Michaela Abam at 73:46 of the game, the first goal surrendered by the Tar Heels since November 4.
