The UNC field hockey team is leaving behind a tumultuous regular season. The No. 4 Tar Heels draw No. 12 Stanford at 2 p.m. on Saturday in College Park, Maryland, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Despite inconsistencies this year, the team is confident going into the weekend. “It’s cliche, but you just gotta keep believing,” said captain Julia Young.
