UNC Field Hockey Knocks Off No. 1 Duke To Play For 20th ACC Crown

Fifth-ranked North Carolina earned a spot in the 2016 ACC Field Hockey Championship game with a 3-2 semifinals win Friday over top-ranked Duke, the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Sophomore Malin Evert’s goal in the 65th minute gave the Tar Heels their first lead of the game and they held on for the victory at Wake Forest’s Kentner Stadium.
