Tar Heels can only watch as Hokies break into Orlando gallop

The Tar Heels needed help last week from Coastal Division cohort Miami and didn’t get it. The Hokies cruised to a 37-16 win in Blacksburg. Then again Thursday night at Pitt, the Heels needed help but the Hokies again refused to be sidetracked, winning 39-36 after quarterback Jerod Evans put on another big passing show with 406 yards and two touchdown strikes.
