A pair of goals early in the second half broke open the game as the #18 UNC women’s soccer team defeated Pittsburgh 3-0 in a heavy rainstorm Thursday night at Ambrose Urbanic Field. The match’s start was delayed by one and one-half hours due to lightning and rain but once it started the Tar Heels pressured Pitt throughout the 90 minutes.
