Nico Melo’s second half goal lifted No. 4 North Carolina to a 1-0 victory over 20th-ranked UNCW on Tuesday evening from Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels broke through with the first and ultimately only goal of the match in the 68th minute. James Pyle earned his third-straight shutout and the seventh of the season for the reigning ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
