UNC wide receiver Ryan Switzer has become a fixture in Tar Heel football history. His career includes school records and the honor of an All-American selection as a freshman and a junior. But this could've been different. As he takes the field in Tallahassee Saturday, Switzer will be donning Carolina blue and white, but he was close to wearing scarlet and gold.
