For a team that was down as many as 10 points in the first half against the No. 3 Buckeyes, suddenly the young Tar Heels’ felt a surge of acceleration. In an offensive shootout that lived up to its hype, No. 7 UNC had just a little more horsepower in a spectacular 98-89 win over the Buckeyes at the Smith Center. (Fayetteville Observer)
