Eric Ebron returns to Detroit Lions practice

Eric Ebron is close to playing football again. The tight end returned to Detroit Lions practice Tuesday -- on a very limited basis -- 17 days after he was carted off at Ford Field with an ankle injury. Ebron wore a helmet Tuesday but largely was a bystander during the 20-minute portion of position drills that was open to the media. (Detroit Free Press)
