Freshman Nogueira seals Tar Heels' title
Posted Dec 4, 2006
Casey Nogueira should be a senior in high school. Instead, she played a crucial role in North Carolina's 18th NCAA women's soccer championship. Nogueira, who graduated from high school a year early to join the Tar Heels this fall, had a goal and an assist in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Notre Dame in the Women's College Cup title game.
