When Florida Atlantic coach Rex Walters played for Kansas, he made countless big shots and assists that helped the Jayhawks to a 84-20 record in three seasons from 1991-94. But it wasn't his performances in front of sell-out crowds at Phog Allen Fieldhouse that made the biggest impression on Roy Williams, his coach. It was his commitment to be a better player in practice.
