After 35 years of 'Football Friday,' Tom Suiter to retire

They say all good things must come to an end. After 35 years of hosting "Football Friday" during the fall and presenting the "Extra Effort Award" to deserving student-athletes, longtime WRAL-TV sports anchor Tom Suiter is retiring. Since the 1980s, Suiter has hosted a high school football highlights show that set the standard for high school football coverage.
