He signed a seven-year, $100 million contract after the 2014 season and no one talks about him. Kyle Seager impressed the Mariners’ brass so much that they saw him as the third baseman of the present and the future and rewarded him as such. The older of the Seager brothers had a career year in 2014 with a .268 average, 25 homers and 96 runs batted in.
