Lucas: UNC Basketball Mailbag Dec. 26

As promised, this week's Mailbag is all about Carolina basketball-related holiday memories. Two stick out to me. The first is a game against Princeton on Dec. 13, 1997. The Tar Heels won, 50-42, but it wasn't the score that was so memorable. That game was the last one that my grandfather attended in person. At the time, he was battling cancer that was spreading throughout his body, but when you've grown up going to games with someone, you never take the time to consider which game might be the last.
