UNC Misses NCAA Baseball Tournament for 2nd Straight Season

The ACC set a record with 10 teams in the NCAA Baseball Tournament but the Selection Committee was unwilling to make it 11 as the Tar Heels miss the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season. The Tar Heels end the season 34-21 and 13-17 in ACC play. There was some measure of hope for UNC given the reliance on the RPI in setting the regional hosts.
