UNC's offense brought a degree of anonymity into the men's lacrosse season, a contrast to a team that had as many knowns as it could cram into a lineup in previous years and only a modest degree of May success. The subplot surrounding the Tar Heels this spring was easy to pinpoint. No Jimmy Bitter. No Joey Sankey. No Chad Tutton.
