Men's Lacrosse: Breaking down UNC's win over Notre Dame in NCAA Tournament
Posted May 23, 2016
UNC was dominant in all phases of the game outside of riding and clearing, winning 17 of 25 face-offs and outplaying the Irish at both ends of the field in its 13-9 victory. Notre Dame’s offense appeared to be building some momentum since a 17-goal outburst against Syracuse, but it has struggled at times this season and was kept under wraps by the Tar Heels’ defense for the first three quarters.
