Zac Gallen struck out eight Notre Dame batters over eight masterful innings and Hansen Butler retired the side in order to complete the shutout at No. 20 UNC blanked the Fighting Irish 3-0 Friday at Boshamer Stadium. Gallen allowed just three baserunners and received a standing ovation prior to the ninth in what was possibly his final home start as a Tar Heel. (GoHeels.com)
