UNC readying for next big thing

Wednesday, January 03, 2007

Second-ranked North Carolina will play its final tune-up game tonight at 8 against Pennsylvania at the Smith Center. UNC will then open play in ACC men’s basketball against Florida State on Sunday at 7 p.m. in Chapel Hill. That marks, officially, the next phase of the season for Carolina and coach Roy Williams. The North Carolina team entering 2007 is much different than the one that started the season in November in Charlotte. (Chapel Hill News)
