No stupid questions: economics professor remembered for how he connected with students

Economics professor Tiago Pires’ passion was matched only by his patience. “He loved being with people and talking to people and just, like, connecting with people,” former UNC graduate student Forrest Spence said. “And because he got to do that in his job, it was just like he was always beaming.”
