In the second game of a three-game series, Carolina took an early 5-1 lead over Louisville but the Cardinals knotted the score at five in the top of the sixth. However, freshman Berlynne Delamora, who put the Heels on the board with a first-inning two-run home run, came through with a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to lead UNC to victory, 6-5.
