Based on opponent seeding alone, North Carolina will have had the third easiest path to a national championship, behind only the 1990 UNLV team and Louisville in 2013. Here is every national champion, going back to the first 64-team bracket in 1986, ranked by toughest path based on seeding of their opponents.
