UNC's strong defense against Notre Dame at the ACC tournament capitalized on sloppy offense from the Fighting Irish. They committed 17 turnovers, one off their season high, prompting Brey to change his starting lineup at the beginning of the NCAA tournament. The move was made to get 6-1 guard Matt Farrell in the lineup as an additional ball-handler. (Fayetteville Observer)
