Erlana Larkins Rebounding After Brother's Death

The first time someone North Carolina junior forward Erlana Larkins knew died, she was in seventh grade. One of her friends was hit by a car when he went to retrieve his shoe that he had lost while running across the street. Since then, Larkins has lost other friends and relatives. A cousin and an uncle. Two years ago, her sister Kanika died of AIDS at 26. Then last month, her brother Jarrad died. He was 29. (Hartford Courant)
