An emotional Roy Williams can take a breath with two titles to UNC's credit
Posted Mar 13, 2016
Roy Williams recalled being emotional as he talked about his deceased mother, sister and father during his 2007 Hall of Fame induction. He was also emotional about his 1997 Kansas team that took a 34-1 record into a Sweet 16 loss to Arizona. Just as Williams was upset that the seniors from the 1997 team didn't make a Final Four, he didn't want his current seniors to leave UNC without any titles.
